cap of a star potential player is that low in salary nowadays? :( its salary is only 25k as of the moment

I seriously doubt it. I have a player with the same potential and age and height with 10 more overall skill points (more well-rounded) and I don't think he is capped although I haven't been focusing my training on him. But he popped 7 times last season.
