If this idea was put into play it would have to be throughout the whole country or else throughout many leagues to make sure that there were enough players of quality. Maybe a USA 18yo game and a 19yo game? This would probably put a strain on the server though as it already struggles over the AS break

Simply put it would still never work because of the training factor. A 19 year old has a whole season of training more and will completely dominate the rookies.

Its not like the NBA where the rookies still has a chance, here we are looking at scorelines of 100-50.

Yes I understand that - an 18yo game AND a 19yo game, separate games...

I see a problem: 80-90% of draftees are **** and are fired just 2 second after they come in roster. many others are sold.

The fact that alot draftees just get fired would make it easier for selection as there are less players to search through, I think the players should only be eligible for the country/league they were drafted in. (Mentioned below..)

I should have said in original post, I thought perhaps across the entire league... But thats ALOT of leagues in some of the bigger countries, especially ones having 5/6 tiers.. Hmm, anyone else have a better idea? Maybe the whole country..

Players who are drafted at 19 though start with slightly higher stats than 18 year olds right? (I may be wrong here, but thought I read that somewhere..)

Plus, you could argue that point for the regular all star game (some leagues have extremely one-sided games, no one complains about that...) anyways, its not for competition, just something else to keep the masses entertained during an already boring week, I think it would also be good for managers to see who the upcoming stars of their nation are..

Thats not what I meant, but could be interesting... I meant that this seasons rookies (18 and 9 yo) vs last seasons (19 and 20 yo)

I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I cant accept not trying. - MJ

Make it a rookie + sophomores team and red vs. Blue group and it could work.
