If you want him to make NT, Train OD NOW. Get his od to 14 before you train anything else. Then train JR a lot. This is because of the elastic effect. OD is the slowest skill to train, and is good to get out of the way. also it will not raise his salary that much as first.

As a guard trainer, and reading the position you are in. I would train his passing up for the rest of the season. Start next season off right and with hopefully strong passing. train JS/OD all season. Than switch off the next few seasons by JS/OD/PA. His IS needs a bit of work if you are trying to get a NT player out of him imo.
