I don't really know what to expect as far as how many seats will be sold at the D.4 level. I'm at 6666 right now I think i'll probably get to 8k or so before I jump into that. Should I leave the arena for now and grab guy at the beginning of next season right away? Or should I see how my draftees fit in? Also, with the draftees should I go for 5 balls in the positions im training?

I'm training C right now cause Sewell has some potential, and even though he is my only real trainee Mercado. Will make a great back up PF after I find a better trainee to replace him.

So go for trainees in the draft or backups? or all other player I draft that I don't train I should try to sell?

We have a lot of great outside shooters. Unfortunately, we play all our games indoors.

Do I really need to fire sale like that. I mean I started half way into this season, and I feel like I could easily make playoffs with very minimal increase to my payroll. I have about 50k profit a week and I would like to keep 40k or so at least. So that unrealistic when going for a championship or promotion?

We have a lot of great outside shooters. Unfortunately, we play all our games indoors.

In the draft you should go for the best talent available. Then you can decide if you want to train big men (and buy veterans for the other positions) or train guards (and buy veteran big men), and if necessary, sell the rookies for cash. You should be investing more in scouting, I think.

I was told since I came into the season so late. I had very little time to make a well scouted pick so I should just do what I can with minimal/so-so scouting. With next year shooting for a promotion, is 10k too much, or should I scout more with all these bot teams?

I agree I should go for the best available. Are selling rookies a good profit, if they would just be as a back-up on my team anyway?

Thinking of hosting a roster of 15 players. I have heard 13 is the lucky number but I've had trouble getting decent play time for all. So, I figure that 15 players 3 line-ups and 3 games a week I could be a little more consistent with my game time. Is that a good idea? those 3 extra players would probably be another 6k to 9k to my payroll at most.

With 15, if everything breaks perfectly, everyone would get exactly 48 minutes, and you'd have to play guys the whole game every time to get that. 13 has worked pretty well for me.

One thing to keep in mind is that in V, if your team is any good and you manage GS/intensity, you'll likely have a lot of blowout wins. If you go with player A as a starter and B as a backup+reserve, you may end up with a 28-20 or even closer split of the minutes. If you do that twice, then you may have a situation where B has approx. 40 minutes going into the scrimmage, so you can't play him as close to the full 48 as you could in a 36-12 split.

The main thing is to make sure that if players are playing too much or too little that they're scrubs that you can afford to lose the GS on, and that your starters are always in the 48-72 range and your main trainees get their 48+.

SHould I always do strictly follow depth charter or when do i use all those settings?

I would say 15 is too much, you won't be finding playing time for all and you'll end up paying unnecessary salary. I have 12 and it works fine. The player rotations don't always go as planned, because no matter what you choose, if by the end of the 3rd quarter you're up by 20 pts you'll have your subs playing the entire 4th quarter. With "strictly follow" you'll get roughly a 36/12 split between starters and backups in normal games, 28/20 in blowouts.

As for the scouting, in a league full of bots you really should be spending 20k a week. In my opinion, at least...

Thank you I think I'm gonna go down to 12 players. I forgot that each player need at least 48 and thats super difficult with 15 players. I just had problems balancing thats just something ill have to work on. So 20k on scouting sounds alright, but I may drop it down to 10k next season. Cause I do enjoy the profits to make a lot of improvements to my team quickly. Is keeping at least 30k a week profit ok or do I need more?

Again, the difference between spending 10k or 20k a week is 140k over the course of the season. If you think about the difference between a mediocre player and a good one, in the long run it's worth it.

It's good to have profit every week. Sometimes it's hard to know when to increase the arena size. What I used to do was spend the "unexpected revenues" (that is, the 50k for each cup round I won) to improve the arena. There's also a fine balance with the prices. In some kinds of seats you're selling out, so that's a sign that you can try increasing the prices a little bit for extra revenue
