I would definatley get some new, younger players and train the players too. It is your choice if you want to try to sell the old players, but the longer you wait the less they will sell. I would sell them and get new talent with the money you earned from them. Also, if you have trainees you could sell them too, but your choice. I think what you said is a pretty good idea.

If you can deal with losing a bunch of games and having a boring season then I can see why you should do it. Make sure you stay above the salary floor and invest a lot in the draft because you will end up with a good pick.

Thanks guys. I think I'll stick with tanking. Anyone there who actually did this? And how good you think are the chances to re-promote after this season?

In the end I decided to penny pinch by getting new staff members, cutting any possible salaries off of my team and make a minimal profit while trying to stay at a 5-6 seed. I've ended up being able to make almost 70k a week and that will increase as I pump the profits into building my arena during the season. Also I will end up with a rather decent draft pick and hopefully manage to avoid relegation. I decided that the game would be too boring and although the money looked good on paper there were no guarantees and that trying to stay competitive was the way to go.

Thanks, I got a lot of interesting thoughts there! I think it won't be possible for me to do the same thing because I'd have to fight tooth and nails anyway to avoid relegation in Division II. So I guess I'll tank, get decent training and build up my arena...

It'll be interesting to see how each of our seasons turn out then... Especially how much money your able to make it back to D.II with
