it can be effective but ive seen it ruin a lot of teams. Basically what it does is forces TO at a very high pace so stamina is pretty important. Also it is vital to have great D, one because FCP lessens your whole D and two you need to turn the ball over, and superb rebounding because it lessens those areas. It is good against a team running a slow paced offence, which requires more passing and holding the ball for longer, and that team has to have some terrible passers and ball handlers. So any team with awful offence flow.
If the team is TO prone you would think they would run a fast paced offence though. Thats why its hardly used at all cause good teams know if they turn the ball over alot they should run a fast paced offence to decrease their TO's. Its one of the most riskest tactics for defence i reckon, it can work well but against most teams its useless
