He does look like an interesting players. Balanced players are always useful. His IS does look a bit ugly, but it's not a deal-breaker imo. My feeling is that balanced players tend to fetch less in the market than one-dimensional beasts, so in your position I would keep him alongside younger and more promising trainees (and you can choose to work on his outside or inside games). He still has a lot of pops in him. If in the end he's no longer useful to your team, then you can put him on the market for a bigger sum.

You definitely have more training room on him. His IS is a problem, but you can probably make him an outside oriented SF who will outperform his salary.

It doesn't look like you have any other trainees right now. I'd suggest going out and picking up a couple of cheap 18yo guards with allstar potential. This season I'd train OD and PA,trying for 4-5 pops in OD and 2 pops in PA, maybe that pop in JR you were talking about. After that, I'd maybe sell the 18 yo guys for a profit an switch to training ID,1v1 for Forwards and Rebounding, picking up a few guys to train along with him again.

Also, I took a look at your arena...it's too bad you went and maxed out your luxury boxes so early. I'd suggest building A BUNCH of bleacher seats an some lower tier. You need more seats!

yeh that was a howler of a mistake from me , but it was spare change for me really considering i got such a lucky draftee center and sold him. Anyway i just found an absolute steal of a pg draftee on the transfer list , picked him up for 218k

Yeah, you got a nice deal, but his mediocre OD and HA may have kept his price from ballooning further

18 year olds go for so cheap on the transfer line, you can find 4,000 + salary guards with allstar or more potential for less then 100,000. You should definetly focus your training on him and I would start with training outside defense until it is strong/proficient and then train the rest so then he looks something like this.
