There is no problem at all in bidding a player a little more than he's supposedly worth. Some of these estimates are really WAY off.

I do think GMs can have acess to the bids that a player receives, if need be. So I don't think getting caught in a bid war and overpaying for some player is an issue too. It may be a little stupid to do that, but I don't think its illegal.

In reality, there must be a huge disparity in the player value and the bid for it to be considered cheating. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

There is no issue if you get into bidding war in fact the bidding war is done only on great players and honestly i love to be in that. Just because the amount i'm going to pay to him in bidding i will get all that back in the games he plays for my team. As his performance will help me in winning games and that will put effect on attendance of my arena, TV contract, merchandise. So i think if the players i great get into bidding war. :)

The problem is not when people bid above the market rates (which needs to happen for the market price to go up) but when people make bids that are extremely above the market rate. When an outrageous bid occurs the most reasonable explination is that the one team is trying to help another team. And if you get in a bidding war that means that other user(s) thought the player was almost worth as much as you got him for so there should not be a problem. Also $20,000 is almost nothing unless the player sold for under 50K.
