In regards to money for league placement and playoff TV money, the increased revenue from playoff games would create too much imbalance. Teams that did not make the playoffs would have a distinct disadvantage at the start of the next season over those that did make the playoffs.

we've had an extensive debate about what to do about bot teams in the upper divisions. Something will be done about them in the offseason, we just haven't decided what. We can't kill all the bot teams right now as it would be unfair for some new users to get placed in DI and some in DIV, nor can we fairly make all bot vs human games default wins for the humans. Bots are at a distinct disadvantage and you will find that they migrate towards the bottom of every league they are in. Hopefully as the game increases in size it will only be the lowest divisions which suffer greatly from people becoming inactive, and we can always replace inactive players with new users.

and thats good i think, because only the best teams wold go to playoffs. let me explain bether, i´m gonna give u my personal example on my hattrick team:
i know that i have a average team right? so i think that if i reforce my team with 1 or2 great players i´ll be promoted and i´ll get the $ from the promotion. so i spend the $ on good players and will have my finances low. but when i get promoted i´ll get the $ back. thats how it works. so i think that ppl that invest on the team to make it betther should be rewarded. because thats how it works. i´ll only have a nice team if i spend $ on it. and if i don´t get the return i´ll be bankrupt.
thats how it works in my oppinion

I don't disagree. What I'm saying is that the revenue from TV games and the prize money that you're proposing would total $500k-$1million+ in additional revenue. It's WAY too much of a reward right now. As it stands, teams that make the playoffs do get additional money. It's not a lot, but the real reward comes in the chance to promote.

The top teams sort of do get a "prize" now.

They get income from the playoff games. This can be a very small prize and it can be a very big prize. It is based on who makes it to the final rather than who ranked where in the regular season.

The recent changes in the game have reduced the advantage the top teams get by adding scrimmages for the other teams in the league. This means ALL the teams get training time and games to play during these weeks. But only the top teams get money for the games.

#2 will be done every offseason, by relegating the bots to the bottom division and promoting additional teams based upon their performances in the previous season.

So there will be teams changing division even if they didn't get relegated or win the playoffs?
