I would go with the first trainee, but they both have their ups and downs. I don't really get why all these managers in div IV and V are so focused on getting their guys on the national team though...

Because once you get into higher leagues you cant really afford to have your trainee play in your league games or that position could easily get crushed and its hard to play a scrimmage every single week due to minutes and injuries and such.

Why not train both of them at the same time to get one PF and one SF? because both are quite good, neither is flawless, but you could turn them into such a tandem.

Because I'm already training another SF/SG (20 yo) so it would be hard to train all three of them.

But on the other hand, on a lower league you can't afford such a high level trainer

If you need a good outside player keep the PG type. If you need a good inside player for the team keep the PF type.

I'd train all 3 up. U can train up to 3 players in single position, good to take advantage of it.
