I was curious about FTs as well. Last season I did a little research and I found that even with legendary FT a player still only made about 95% of his attempts. Now a player with strong FT (12 pops less than legendary) had a FT % around 80%. I had a player that had atrocious FT last season and he was making less than 30% of his FTs. The last month of last season I trained FTs and he popped 3 times, and now he is making 55%.

So in my opinion it is not worth the training time (unless you have no trainees) to train FT if your players have at least average FT. There is a big difference when FTs are very poor, but once you get above average the percent made between strong and legendary is so little I wouldn't suggest training them.

Well you kinda just made my point. Your average is 8.3 mine is just under 6, and your team shoots 3% better than mine, and you would have had to train them at least 2 weeks longer. So is two weeks of training worth 3% better free throw percentage?

Your last statement is true though, but in my guy that had the atrocious FTs it only took a few pops to make him much better. So if you do have a guy that has terrible FTs it isn't hard to boost his percentage pretty quickly.

I just got my team, so i've only had time to train team training a couple times, and only did stamina, but this season it looks like I will HAVE to train FT.
