Ha. Agree on all counts Smedlock. He'll get a couple days of a good fan survey though:)

Won't hear me complaining about people CTing against my conference for wins haha!

I don't think connecticut has much to play for in the grand scheme of things... they aren't going to make a realistic run for the championship this year I don't think. I was very surprised with the result to say the least.

very true.... maybe he just wanted to see what would happen. I think you are right though as far as the effects of low intensity for him going forward. His team wasn't that great anyways but now I wouldn't be surprised to see them drop their next few. Schrodas will be tough to catch for anyone. You can only control your one head to head game. I think our group might be a little tougher from top to bottom so I doubt schrodas will lose a game when the return leg matches come around later.

Not much of a game to watch from my standpoint, at least. Didn't set orders, so I was 2 players short to start, then had 2 SF's injured during game. Good win for Updog, bad loss for me.

Today's Matchups:

Toronto @ Drons: I would expect the away squad to win pretty comfortably. Despite low salaries, the team as a lot of strength in depth.

Eclypze @ 2LeftFeet: 2LeftFeet forgot to set their team last week, but I think Eclypze will still prevail in this one.

Lake Charles @ Connecticut: Lake Chareles will continue its uphill battle back into contention. Connecticut still hurting from its CT a few games ago and playing normal last time out.

Natelio @ Broken Arrow: Probably one of the closer matchups of the day. I say Broken Arrow has the edge only because they are at home.

Ozark @ East Gary: East Gary in a blow out....

Extra Crispy @ Boston: Extra Crispy by 50+

Baltimore @ Steel City: Sounds like a better NFL matchup then buzzerbeater game.... I guess one of these teams will have to win but will it matter at all?? Baltimore to win.

Updgog @ Schrodas: Clearly a massive game with the mid season #1's. Schrodas likely have the advantage with a slightly stronger squad and being at home. The pressure is on Updog as Schrodas already has a 3 game lead in it's division where as a loss by Updog will likely drop it down to 3rd.

Overall for the day, I say Big 8 gets 5 wins, Great 8 gets 3 wins.

Good analysis! Thanks for putting this together.

I think agree entirely except for Baltimore vs. Steel City. The Barnburners haven't logged in since 11-9, and with Steel City at home, I'll give the edge to them.

Bummer that the interleague play will be decided with that game haha (no offense Cyborgs). But I expect the Great 8 to take 5 of 8 this week, and lock the score at 12-12.

Unless... of course... I beat Broken Aarow. But man he's deep. Has 7 players above a 20K salary. They did CT Schrodas a couple games ago though... so maybe that will help me out.

Well, we were both wrong! Big and Great split 4-4. Looks to be very balanced right now.

Big 8: 13
Great 8: 11

Toronto @ Drons: No issue for Traptors. MVP: Soares: 22 pts, 8 reb.

Eclpze @ 2 Left Feet: Eclpyze comes back from 12 point deficit after the first quarter to win the last quarts by 26. MVP: Freidinger: 19pts, 9 rebs, 4 ast, 3 stl, 0 TOs.

Lake Charles @ Conn: Cresleys normal at home to grab the close win. Doesn't look to be banking enthusiasm any time soon. MVP: Peacock: 18 pts, 5 rebs, 8 ast

Natellio @ Broken Aarow: Never in this one. I couldn't score or get a rebound on the Tornados who are just too deep for me right now. MVP: Asher: 24 pts, 7 rebs (9-15 shooting).

Ozark @ East Gary: 52 point win for the Eagles. MVP: The whole team. Had 6 payers in double figures.

Extra Crispy @ Boston: Chicken takes it by 71. MVP: Barroca: 14 pts, 20 rebs.

Baltimore @ Steel City: Barnburners pull it out for the Big 8 despite 35% shooting. It was close all the way. MVP: Frankenstein Horne: 17 points, 5 asts, 7 steals.

Updog @ Schrodas Game of the week goes to Shrodas who are still undefeated. Pulled away big time in the 4th, and only used 7 players. MVP: Westbrook: 24 pts, 7 rebs, 13 asts.
