when there are bot in the higher league they automatically get demoted to the bottom league, so there are usually some team who promote without winning the championship. The PD play a role there, but only with a low priority, see here for more _> (207077.1)

Yikes, you played 1-3-1 zone against a look inside team! After all these years why would you ever play 1-3-1 against a team that has played LI all season?

I wouldn't bank on 19-3 and a 2nd place finish getting your promoted. Sorry bud.

You need have at least a 21-1 or 22-0 record to bot promote. Case in point: my team last season. We went 20-2 with a PD of 794 (with only two losses to a team in my conference who went 22-0 and clearly dominated the league) and obviously I'm still in D.V. The team in the other conference from last season went 20-2 with a 735 PD, obviously won his conference but not the league, but he didn't promote. So from this I infer that you need to have a 21-1 record. I think I heard someplace that you need to win your conference as well, but I'm not sure. In any case, at 19-3 with only 648 PD you're not going to promote. Sorry

Well that may have been the case back then when you promoted, but if that were true last season then War Eagles (29252) or my team or both would have promoted. You can check our league history (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/417/overview.aspx?seas...) if you don't believe me.

Your too far down to be bot swept. They swept the league according to highest league, V.1 being the high division V league, to lowest league, being ,V.256 being the lowest V that contains human (if there are any human in it),and they fill the top up with the with rest of the managers with great records until there are no hole with computer in it. You don't have a chance at the bot sweep being that you are in V.101.

This is untrue.
You CAN bot-sweep promote with a lower record... but that's entirely dependent on what everyone else does. The best records promote, there is no floor on the record you need to do so.

Well, a few seasons ago, there was a team with a 19-3 who had a high PD, that lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs, i think it was season 15 or 16. But i also understand all the viewpoints, so, most likely i won't promote, probably just one team my Division will promote, and that's the first place team in the Big 8.
