Just train him as a conventional SG
1. Lack's inside
2. he's too short to even consider training him inside skill
3. His Potencial

If I train the above guy for SG, then should I make this below player my future SF?

Weekly salary: $ 3 697
(received 12 pops so far this season, so that salary is already way above what it shows)
DMI: 52200
Age: 19
Height: 6'3" / 190 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: proficient

Jump Shot: proficient ↑ Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: strong Handling: mediocre
Driving: average Passing: proficient
Inside Shot: pitiful Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: awful

This guy was not trained at all as an 18 year old, so valuable time was missed. But I trained him hard this season and got good results. He will be the ONLY player left from when I took the team over, so I plan to keep him and train him to the fullest extent. I suspect I can make him a good player through DIV 3.

How would I train this guy and what should his future position be?

Thanks for the info.

HIs potential is even less
Looks like you've already put some descent time in training OD and PS you can continue training on OD and PS 1v1 and if you cap him, he can be great reserve even in league 2 or so

A good SF should have at least strong inside skills. Dont even think about training a guy with inept inside defense to be an SF...

Better start with an undesized center and go from there.

Way to short for a SF with those low inside skills. Concentrate on his handling and passing up and and make him a guard.

Right now, the way he's trained, the transfer market is loaded with guys like him. Guys with high JS and high JR and poor passing. Please don't add to the glut of poorly trained guards and get him fixed. ;)

Keep in mind that height only affects training, but doesn0t mean anything at all when playing a game.
