Ok, you got your help. Answer to question 1; You have to look at the transfer price estimate below the the part that says "percentage of income from the sell." There you can see for example, you have a star potential guy you're selling, he's 4k. BB does the price estimate by age, salary, potential, and if you train them. Example, you'll see" There have been this # of tranfers of these type of players. It can say somthing else, it varies. But at the end you'll see the range of price-ex. 25k-60k.

Answer to question 2; You have to invest in scouting first, you can go to draft and scouting page and then set the amount of points invested. They have this; 1 pt 10000, 2 pts 20000, etc. But I suggest that you don't invest in scouting this season because this season is already almost over.

For question 3; First thing I would do is to expand your arena first. Do little expansions so that the seats will be ready faster. And then the next thing to do with the cash id=s to buy 1 star player for your team--maybe a 10k guy with good skills. Use the rest to do little bulds. I also suggest that you get your roster down to 14 players. You really don't need all those players. Let me be your mentor. I can help you. Let me see your team and send me a message. Even though I've only been on for 2 months myself, I'm already competing. Hope this helps you. Wait, I'm about to BB-Mail you.

Unfortunately, all of your players are probably worth no more than $1k. Including the one you bought for $50k. The purchase was just a small error and most people don't generate valuable players upon team creation, so you're still in fine shape.

In a battle of slow and steady vs. using all your resources on competing right away, slow and steady wins in a beat down. Instead of making truly crippling purchases like "win now" 34 year olds with $20k+ salary, I'd buy 3-6 18 year olds with no major flaws and perennial allstar or higher potential. Wait until after the draft (the 14th I believe) to do so. You'll still be able to be highly competitive (possibly promoting) while increasing the skill and value of your trainees. Also expand your arena (bleachers) whenever you can.

aaarg tough your so frustrating. I try to be nice but you cant expect me to when you give newcomers bad information You said a couple wrong/bad things:

1. BB does the price estimate by age/potential/ and skill... not by salary.

2. I agree that he shouldn't invest in the draft but you got your numbers wrong... for 1 point it's 5000, 2 points its 10000, 3 points for 20000 and 4 points for 40000. This is why you want to invest in the draft for a full year doing one or two points a week instead of investing 3 or 4 points in the last few weeks because its cheaper the first way. see just look:

Buying one scouting point through four weeks (5000 x 4) = 20000
Buying four scouting points through 1 week (40000 x 1) = 40000

That is why its cheaper the first way so don't tell him the wrong info on that please...

3. I feel like 14 players is useless for him right now because about 7 of his players suck right now and there is no point in keeping them. He would do better with just 10 decent players IMO. I agree with you on the arena idea though.

ok looking at his team. I know what I'm doing. Just doing a little evaluation. Omly two bad things. I don't look at the draft that Much either; that's why my prices are wrong. I think I'll be like you and get crapplayers but with great names.

Let's try to work together nicely somehow we always bump heads..............hey, you're better than RAINES--we're total arch enimies......

Ok, now he should sell everyone of his team that have less than 3500 salary (except young guys); and the low potential guys (ex. 6th man, role player, lessar) . In my opinion--cause then he's down to like 6-8 players. If he wants to get $$$, he should sell the center cause he got more young outside guys than inside guys. Therefore, he should train the outside based guys. I believe he should train all three, sell one, and convert one into Shooting Guard (cause all of his SG's suck) Then use the $$$ to get arena up to 6k- 1k a season gradually. Like this (250 for 4 segments; 250x4=1000) Use rest to really get a great player I sugest 8-12k guy to afford. Don't give up hope on the guy he bought (SF), cause he can still train him. (hopefully with the PG's)

1. BB does the price estimate by age/potential/ and skill... not by salary.

I'm not sure about that. I think they're grouped together in a rudimentary type of way - similar salaries and highest attribute the same in a players' respective age/potential/position classes. But it works fine, there are just some major outliers. Not a big concern after you learn the TL.

On guards, high REB drives up salary = different/usually higher EV. I've seen SFs who aren't real SFs (high JS, high REB, low everything else) with extremely high EVs due to their highest attribute being JS and salaries being similar to real SFs. Similar example to SF with PFs. Cs are no different and their EVs are most commonly messed up imo, maybe in part due to higher salary variance.
