First off you won both games so I wouldn't go gaga crazy over your SG taking shots.

Possible factors in your SG's high volume of shots:

1. Experience - Due to high experience players usually tend to take over and or take the best shots.

2. Better man match-up - i.e. Man guarding your player has piss poor ID/OD. So your SG has the best possible shot compared to others on your team.

3. PT (Playing Time) - He was the only player on the field for your team for the entire 48 minutes.

I'm leaning towards #2 since at a glance of both games, the opposing SG's both ran the lowest ratings on their respective teams with a 6.5.... Just because you run a Inside offense doesn't mean your SF, PF and C will be taking the majority of shots.

14 and 16 3-point shots is also somewhat high for LP, so it might be the case that your team couldn't find a pass or drive into the low post and your guard had to force 3 pointers with the shot clock running out.

Especially in (46068337), 14 assists isn't a sign of an inside offense working well.

He scored 54 points because you played patient. Massive outside mismatch at the PF position and patient tends to give the player with the best mismatch on offence the majority of the shots.

He picked up 21 rebounds because the opposition were total scrubs that fail to understand the concept of boxing out.

Buy players with better passing and handling and you wont have this problem. The reason he is shooting so much is because they are having trouble feeding the ball inside thus your guards are taking a lot of jumpers and you dont have many assists.

I thought he didn't have a problem with people scoring 50+ points, thatsactually good! Score is the 1 thing the GE likes.......kinda sad. Just saying.

Good luck with that. I'm still trying to figure out why my PG stands around pointing all the time.
