Seems interesting.

Though change the Default skin..

Reminds me of a Geocities website made by a 15 year old.

Haha I remember when silo and I created that forum. Geez we used it for like a week and then never used it again (well I know I didn't).

Never seen you before here bit have to wonder why all of a sudden you and silo are setting this up? When the reason for creating that offsite forum was to keep it secret from the 'clique' haha yes silo is behind this, don't know why?

If it is simply for the simple reason that he actually does want to help the Aussie talent then well done and nice idea. But considering the reasons why the offsite forum was created, just have to wonder... Is he trying to get more followers?

Silo also BB-mailed me today asking to spread the word around regarding this funny after almost a season be tries to get back in contact with me, hmm

Not sure I like the way you decide the winners either. Pretty easy to win as a PG, just train OD and PAS all season should give you highest PG rating easily. Then it just comes to who has the higher level coach making it harder on the lower divisions. I can't think of an alternative though so Good Luck with everything. I'll sign up and take a look around.

ps. So these rules state you have to have drafted the player you're entering in the comp? I think you could change that, that rule will really limit your audience. Plenty of managers don't use the draft system at all.

You came to us wanting to join the 'clique'

Though I must say your team is far better for it.

USA had a competition similiar to this.

The competition was basically, if you had a player that made the team for a certain season(I think its this season actually) than you won. The prizes would be something like 3 months supporter and such(they had a GM request permission).

Every season leading up to it they would have a top 5 players for the draft class and whoever was 1st would get supporter/banner or logo.

They also made being on the offsite forum a requirement.

Just a thought.

We have our own offsite forum we've been using for a few years now, part of Buzzerbeaterstats.

We already scout and do all the fancy National Team stuff there. Don't see why we can't run the same promotion over there instead?

Hey Latino,

Seeing as the topic is up in the air once again, and since you now know what it's like to have played for both teams. lol

Maybe you can give those like Silo (Still have a lot of respect for him!) who are not in the "clique" an insight and your thoughts into what 'it's' really like?

To hopefully dampen some of the misconceptions (or whatever you wanna call it) and encourage even more participation in the Aussie BB community. :)

Hey guys

I have only every wanted to be involved with the Australian community. When silo came out last year I just wanted to see what his agenda was and then i started listening to what he had to say. However after he didnt win the election i realised that it was nothing more than trying to gain support for himself (atleast thats how i felt).

And it also made me realise that the 'clique' wasnt as bad as it was made out to be. It just takes effort so i continued to put in the hard yards and it is seemingly paying off. So yes iwen I came to you guys and dont regret it

It is just funny that once again, when the new season starts that silo has again popped out of nowhere however he is getting Hoopster to announce his announcements??

I will just say now that even if the 'clique' exists, it is not a closed and secluded situation. All the coaches are very helpful and generous. They like to help new coaches. And all you have to do is ask. Its great fun learning off those guys. So yes razorsharp I would encourage more participation in the community.

I am sorry for the part I played in fueling some of those misconceptions but quickly learned how wrong I was. yodabig let me be on his staff for the Bolivia U21 NT. And just the other day I was drafted by the top managers to be a part of the largest PL in Australia - The fishbowl!

So c'mon friends of silo (and the man himself), get involved and you will be more than welcomed!
