Why not Jump Range? It is 1 of the slower skills and it trains handle and jump shot along with it. What a waste of a 2 guard with no range.

Sorry about that, that's the only way that i knew how to post them. But thanks for showing me. But Jump Range, I would train it, but i saw some where in this section, that it said to never train Jump Range, but i will give him some Jump Range to then. In fact, i'm training one on one for Shooting Guard this week, unfortunately it will only be one player that received 48+ minutes. Been training my 18 year olds that were 18 in Jump Range last week, which was the second time this year.

I think you read that wrong. I believe, the consensus out there, is to not train JUMPSHOT. Since training, 1 on 1, Outside shooting, and Inside shot, all train it as a secondary skill, and that training just Jumpshot will run up the salary on your player. I could be mistaken, but this is what I thought the line of thinking is, with training.

If I were him, I would train JS/1v1 during 2 game weeks, offseason, etc., but during the 3 game weeks, I would work on OD/PA, with a little JR sprinkled in. Mighty Mouth, you can do what you like, but I recommend starting with some JS training this week.

Yeah, IMO just train one on one because you'll get lots of pops and then when youre content with his stats, then go and hammer out OD, and train some jump range after that. That's just my opinion because 1v1 will get a lot of pops in things like handling, jump shot and driving as well as some random cross pops.

Believe or not I played my center out of position 1v1 and he got 3 pops!! OD, pa and js. That was extremely helpful :)

GOOD LUCK !

My bad. It was handling, not passing

One thing to keep in mind about preferring 1v1 over JS on short weeks is that HA becomes VERY expensive(both in salary and cap space) on players listed at point guard, especially as you go into 15 and above. Considering that HA is trained quickly by a combination of 1v1 and passing (which good guard trainers will do a lot of), this isn't a terribly hard level of HA to reach. So there are some times when training JS isn't ideal, but it may be preferable to 1v1.
