The 5th seeds do not play anyone while the 8th seeds auto-relegate. the 6th seed of one conference faces the 7th seed of the other conference.
To get promoted you have to win the championship or if the next Division has enough bots win your conference and have good record &PD.
You have to lose the relegation series or be the 8th seed
