Glad I checked this in the middle of doing mine, so that I didn't waste more time doing the whole thing.

Ya I would not might alternating. the task.

We could even do both of our views the for the week if you would want to do that.

Ramquizibo's view:
These games will definitely warrant sitting some starters for.Based purely on draws, I would like to give Flashover the nod for the Current Hardest Road in the Cup. His opponent is a D.III demotee who hasn't down-sized his team yet. 4 of his starters have over 20k salary and the next 4 have around 15k. Red wolves opponent has 2 guys over 20k and 4 more over 10k, and Hansen's has 1 over 20k and 6 more over 10k. On the other hand GForce will probably be given the best opportunity to rest his starters in what should be a gimme game against Royal Challengers (whose moderately priced players are set to go off the TL tomorrow). But anything can happen when a CT gets pulled. Remember, nobody likes losing in the first round.

Mine was a bot until just a couple of days ago. Hopefully they don't go all crazy with their 300k and make this game harder than it needs to be on me.

Of course! Alternating the task while both of us still give views, good idea.

And @3ball there is no way a newbie manager can beat an experienced manager like you!

These are off to a good start. I hope that someone can continue this thread until we are all out of the cup. An NBBA team will win the cup but the cup is still exciting when you win.

Winning games in the cup involves some good luck with favorable matchups. Some teams are very fortunate to play weak teams or bot teams at home. Other teams are not as fortunate and are immediately matched up with a tough opponent.

I have been at both ends with long and short cup runs. Unfortunately if we put too much effort into our cup games our league games will suffer.

Looks like Running Red Wolves has the highest risk of losing his match. If he doesn't wanna destroy GS his top 5 will be Adil Muham, Sergio Iturbust, Toño Siles, Àlex Amayuela, Richard Carrington. Still a pretty good lineup for not playing 4 of his top 5 guys. I would still say he wins no problem if the other guy cares about his GS at all though.

I expect for nobody to be knocked out this week, as Hansen and Flashover have minutes left on alot of their starters

I would direct this post to FamousJuS, but he hasn't posted yet so..

anyways looks like some unexpected (?) teams lost this weak.

Well the challengers are basically a bot so...I guess it wasn't unexpected.

Save some energy for your tough league games. My 3rd string center was injured after just 6 minutes but he will be okay.

Some of us are playing against Division VI bot teams that we never hear about. I wouldn’t bother to watch these blowouts.

Just like last year Royal Challengers is one of the first group eliminated. Suprisingly so is LBC Soldiers. His D.V opponent was sporting a 80k player, but its not like that should have taken him by surprise.

Eliminated this week:

By D.V: Royal Challengers, LBC Soldiers

Here are the draws for next week:

Div. III: Running Red Wolves

Div IV: Flashover, Philadelphia Phantasm, Deadwood Gunslingers

Div V: az warriors

Bots: Bunny Humpers, Barbarian Marauders, Hansen, BuckNuts, Tachenko, PuffPuffPass, Gimme The Hot Sauce, Gremlins, , and Michigan Blasters

Current Hardest Road in the Cup: Running Red Wolves

Ramquizibo's view:
There is no doubt about it that Running Red Wolves has the Hardest Cup Draw this week, coupled with his decent draw last week he was a shoo in for the Current Hardest Road in the Cup. Check it out (28690). Though there was 3 D.IV draws they are definitely not strong teams.

Running Red Wolves is definitely helped by being able to play Royal Challengers this week and rest all of his starters in that game instead of the cup.

I predict no one will be eliminated this week.

Yeah, they really want to test me, and I had a SF injured for 2 weeks.
