Nonsense to see guards playing at center position... Remove it from BB! Fast.

Guards at center position?... Is there other way to train (as fast as possible) his "inside skills"?... ;)

I was not talking about training young guys.
That´s not the point here.

I am talking about a tactic that as nothing close to the reality. Just that.

Playing guards with high skills just to take an advantage that does not exist on real games?
I am sure that the coaches would solve the problem by adapting their defense. And thats not the case here on BB.

I voted yes, but it's not as clear cut. I think the idea of having a slow-paced offense where you're looking for a great shot and otherwise if none is presented to try to get it to your best scorer is a good one. I think it's too skewed towards outside shots, though - perhaps rather than having the engine decide which player will be the "magic" player for the game based on the outside scoring potential, it could instead run more like a base offense with a higher threshold before deciding to shoot/drive. I suppose in the end the same thing could happen, but guys with good scoring matchups shouldn't avoid shooting just because someone else has a 0.5% better matchup.

The real problem is that the coaches do not do defensive switches effectively against patient, and there's no facility for us to say that we want our SG to guard Player X if he's on the court, only to guard a specific position. There should be other options available to specify that we want specific players to guard more against certain types of players (e.g., SG guard outside shooter, PG guard primary ballhandler, SF guard the Mark Eaton clone with no scoring touch, etc.).

The way that it works now is that Patient is essentially a cheap way to generate mismatches without having players trained specifically to do so. If you've got a big man that can score inside but also hit the three, of course, that's a mismatch that you've earned - no matter how effective the AI coaching was, if the opponent doesn't have a guy with the combination of inside and outside defense then the scorer will have a significant advantage. But to say that a team that can play effective outside defense can't guard a three point shooter because he's listed on the scoresheet for the game as a center is absurd.

You would delete an normal tactic from the game? Ridiculous..

Lets say I use Patient in all early Cup games, I put 1-2 good players and they have the most shoots, and now you want to remove it because you can't or don't know to play again a SG on C?

This is where we hold them!

Just respect my opinion.
I will do the same with your opinion. Ok?
Can you do that?

I can comment and say my opinion about that like all other managers.

And I think that would be unnecessary and bad to remove Patient.

This is where we hold them!

You must remember how it all happened.
Patient wasn't so popular before BB added defensive switch, enabling managers to play guards as C and have them defend their native positions...

Patient as a tactic is fine. playing slowly until you find the best match-up is fair, reasonable and realistic. But it seems that patient tactic (That was around before managers were able to make defensive switches) became ridicules since the D change.

I personally think it's a side effect no one thought of when implemented defensive switch and as such it must be fixed.
