I dont think they are inside or outside the same way that other options are. moreso, they pick a player who will create something (combination ofdriving, passing). this player is either an outside or an inside player, but the rest of the whole team is positioned quite balanced.

I made the experience that sometimes when i play inside my PF dishes out a lot of assists, I guess this comes from him playing iso and kicking the ball out.

Thanks. In that case, have you had to defend against either Inside or Outside Iso? What defense worked most consistently?

Thanks, as always. Very helpful. So, is the best D against it more of a m-t-m, under the assumption that you can one-on-one guard that isolated player, or are you better off going with area zone defenses that prevent outside shots or inside shots, depending on the Iso? I know that a good part of it depends on the defensive talent on the defensive team, but have you, or anyone else, seen a notable trend?
