After the game ends, when you go to box score it has something that says
Your effort for the game: [what your effort used here]

then it says a line right under it which says:
You looked like the only one trying (You went CT opponent went TIE)
You put more effort into the game (You went CT opponent went normal)
Both teams played at the same effort (Self explanatory)
Your opponent put more effort into the game (You went normal opponent went CT)
Your opponent looked like the only one trying (You went TIE opponent went CT)

Is there a way to determine if a game opponent used Crunch Time against my team?


Right from your last boxscore:

ThePhantoms put more into this game than justice09

So if you played normal then he crunched. If you played take it easy then he played normal. We also know with 100% certainty that you didn't crunch and he didn't play take it easy.

I knew I was forgetting about something lol, it seemed too simple. But the point is, the sentence displayed about your opponent's effort is relative to yours. Thinking about it numerically (TIE = level 1, Normal = level 2, CT = level 3)

You put more effort into the game means you were +1 effort levels higher than the opponent
You looked like the only one trying means you were +2 effort levels higher than the opponent

and conversely it would be -1 and -2 for the opponent putting more effort, or the opponent looking like the only one trying.

It's probably also worth noting, however, that a team could actually be playing with more Enthusiasm even if it looks like the other team was the only one trying. So if a team has built up Ent by playing TIE repeatedly, that team will effectively be playing at a higher level of Ent than a team that has used CT a couple times and starts from a low place.

The descriptions will read as correctly noted in this thread based on Tactics, not based on the actual Ent of the teams.

Yea there's no real way to tell the opponents enthusiasm level unless you track all of their games (I'm too lazy to do) and make a guesstimate, so a TIE with 8 ent may equate to normal with 5 ent etc...

Which even still isn't a flawless process. For example, I've played several games at TIE this season which my opponent has done as well. Someone analysing my game would be unable to tell if both teams played at TIE, Normal, or CT, the three of which would all make a major difference in calculations.
