Shouldn't need to train GS. You should be able to get good GS just by weekly minutes.

I've never trained GS, but i think it would be hard to find the exact impact it has. Training update means GS update as well, and you dont know how much you're GS is exactly going to increase or decrease by. Not to mention all the sublevels and everything. I've never seen someone state an approximate impact for it.

GS training is pretty wasteful and a short term thing. It only helps for one week, and its easy to maintain good GS just by weekly minutes.

Never train game shape, especially when you have three good trainees.

True but if I remember correctly when I looked he is the obvious favorite to win his conference so he has plenty of time to raise his team's game shape without wasting a week of training. Just manage minutes correctly and he is fine by playoffs.

i am on GM-Perpete side on this! i have never trained GS before (thats why i ask about its effect), but as the PO approach i want to maximize my chances to promote. we all know that managing the minutes is not always a guarantee that your gs will be as u hope it to be (proficient!). And one can survive wasting a week of training.

Last year my opponent in the finals abviously trained GS before the PO (i tracked his minutes and GS) and it helped him a lot i think.

So anyone with a little more information about training GS ? does it have an impact ?

Well of course it has an impact but you should be able to breeze to the championship and you have plenty of time to get all your players to strong-proficient game shape so I wouldn't recommend wasting a week of training on it. You are the manager of your own team though so do what you think is best.

Gameshape training is also good to use when your minutes get outta hand from league/cup matches!

While I agree that there are cases where training game shape in the playoffs is beneficial to promote, we're not in the playoffs yet and his team has excellent game shape. So in this particular instance I don't see any benefit whatsoever.
