Some of these tactics are okay ideas others are not. These would be difficult to implement in the Game Engine.
Getting out out fast breaks is based on the pace of tactic you choose(more likely when using RNG or PTB or when playing FCP). Guarding from the 3 would be 3-2 zone.
As far as the really specific things such as be "aggressive on the rebounds" or "guard tight or sag off", I don't think it is necessary at all. This is a managing game, not a coaching game, there's a difference.

There are certain things where you can't choose your preference in choosing regular tactics. What if you want your players to get out on fast breaks quickly, but when in a half court setting, slow it down a little bit more to save some stamina? This also applies to defense. The other team might have some really good big men, so you'll run a 2-3, but what if their next best option is their SG, who has great JS and JR and can knock down any open shot he gets? Maybe this suggestion would work better if there was some reward for using the same or similar tactics consistently, but you would have to make adjustments for different teams. For example, if a team plays LI a lot, they would probably be more used to it. But if the other team has really good inside defenders, then there should be an option to try to swing it out to the open man behind the three-point line.

I am fully aware that BB is a managing game, and not a coaching game. However, we're able to set tactics, and don't get me wrong, it's a very good system as it is, I'm just saying by adding in more specifics and playing to the strengths of your team, it could be great. I'm not saying you should be able to make in-game adjustments, just a few more settings to choose while setting your lineup and tactics.

Maybe it does that some of the time, but a lot of the time, it doesn't make a big enough difference. Maybe my original suggestion wasn't clear enough, but like I said in my other reply, this would probably work better if there was some reward for sticking with the same tactics. Teams shouldn't just be able to adjust to a new offensive or defensive tactic and just automatically get it and thrive in it. It should take a little bit of time, but not a lot, so people aren't always forced to use the same tactic. Or, your team could have one outside set and inside set for offense that they're accustomed to, and one outside and inside set for defense, and you could use one of each of these sets with no penalty. However, you could make those small changes for each upcoming game, i.e. be aggressive on rebounding, guard tight or sag off, etc. Then it would be possible to change your preferred inside or outside set, but it would take a little getting used to. IDK, I'm just coming up with some stuff quickly, but this would probably be the best way to implement more advanced tactics.

What about just having the option to change tactics at halftime? Instead of having the game engine simulate the entire game at once it would only simulate the first half before tip off, and the second half could be simulated during halftime. This would give managers the opportunity to change tactics for the second half up until the start of halftime. This would allow a little more in game control, hopefully without requiring a huge overhaul of the existing game engine.

Unfair advantage to those who can make the games.
Having a "backup" tactic option wouldn't be so bad.
But as I have said before, this is a managing game, not a coaching game. You do not need to control everything.
