It appears that "experience" in BB is more like "basketball sense" which some players are born with a lot, and others never acquire (or only acquire a little). So what is called "experience" is somewhat like what is being proposed as "leadership".
But presumably, "experience" already has a beneficial aspect in decisive moments of games (or could). I think an experienced player is more likely to hit the clutch shot at the buzzer, while an inexperience pure shooter may shoot 50% from 3 points during mop-up time, and only 10% if the game is on the line.
