There is a lot of info in the FAQs but a quick run down.

1. The younger the player the quicker the train. Getting a 18 year old to train is the best.
2. The potential of player limits how far they can train. Anything less then all star is a waste to train. At Div III level I would want Prem all star at least.
3. The position the player is means little at this stage. If you want to train a Big man (C/PF) get someone 6'9 at least. The taller they are the quicker he will train in the big man skills of IS,ID,RB and SB. And if you want a G you want someone smaller. 6'4 max. Same they will train faster in those skills.
4. Training should be done in one position training other then who who can only be done in 2. The less positions trained the better.
5. If you can afford it getting a higher level trainer also helps. Do not got beyond Advanced at this stage and do not pay salary of more then 20k a week.
6. Make sure the player or players to train get 48 mins + each week in the position listed for training.

You should look on the transfer market for someone to buy and train. Do not spend too much at this stage while you learn. Getting Australian players is better for your team.

What mickyster said.

On top of that, set the coach as "strictly follow depth chart".
Try to have 3 trainees.

trainee 1 to play a full game on Saturday night league game
trainee 2 to play a full game on Tuesday night league game
trainee 3 to play a full game on Thursday night Cup or Scrimmage game.

Then on Friday evening the training updates.

If I have enough money to afford a world renowned trainer to train mvp+ big man and guard, do you recommend world renowned or exceptional, and does the world renowned trainer salary go up faster than a exceptional trainer?

I'd stick to a level 4 or level 5 at most.

In in entire history on BB, Ive only ever had a level 4. Which explains why my trainees never make the U21. I sack the trainer when he gets too expensive and train stamina/FT/gameshape for a few weeks cos you dont need a trainer to train those teams skills. Then I take my time to search for another low salary level 4 trainer.

If you want to train for U21 then level 6 or 7 is the way to go, but I wouldnt reconment it cos they cost too much in salary. But yeah if you have a lot of money and your primary focus is to train then go for it.

I had a 2 season 21 nt player with only advanced trainer. I can't see the point in going much higher unless you find a bargain.

Yeah I've never had more than an Advanced level trainer and I've had 2 U21 representatives.
Honestly, unless you can get super lucky and bag a bargain then don't bother.
Just get a sub $15k advanced guy and you'll be fine.
