+1

Personally I think rule changes, GDP etc. could be announced the day after the finals, even earlier if one has to adjust ones team. Some other news e.g. winners of B3 etc. could be given after all the updates are done.

Another reason for sooner news is that a lot of LAs have to translate the news and this takes some time, too.

I think information related to season changes should be informed before we must set up our lineups for first new season games!!!!

GDP is clear but depending on "fair play rules" it is possible that roster must be "fine tuned" which might impact for minute management. So please.....BB.....facts on the table asap. I think this request is very reasonable!

It would be nice. Last season it came late afternoon server time on the Friday before the first league matches, so if that holds, we'd have it in the next 2-3 hours. The season before it came in the middle of the second day of league matches, though. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later!

Hopefully he is not implementing those right now ;)
Still, ideas could have been published in season posts even if "installation of changes" is taking some time.
I would highly respect if detailed information could be first action in the offseason process, not the last one!

UPDATE #6: The heavy update successfully completed. Enjoy the game while we prepare the new features and rule changes for this season, but more about that in the upcoming newspost!

To be honest, every single season someone makes this thread. I personally like it coming after the offseason processing is done. As one of the BBs said in recent seasons its always posted after all of the offseason processing done to mark the end of the processing. I like that. Sure it comes after game one or two, but they never ever implement anything that changes Your gameplanning without at least a seasons warning. Any new features they introduce in the news post is completely aesthetic or not being implemented until next season. Patience is a virtue.

I wouldn't have raised this issue up, if our local translation would have given us same info than original version. I just switched to English US to see original post from last season and noticed a big difference.....

Our local version says (free translation)
- fair play rule will encourage teams to keep salaries at the level of weekly incomes
-> no any comments about incentives what team will earn weekly. So English version gives me understanding that this is only some bucks, nothing else.

For my eyes that "encourage" in our translation could mean also:
- players are happy to see that team's financial management is very proficient and they will train even harder than earlier
- or players are happy and they will give their best in every game

So some other benefits than money would really affect to my gameplan. Money doesn't. I really hope that it is only money.

Lesson learnt: check original version also, do not fully trust translations even if our LA-persons are legendary
