any advice on how to train this guy? I have a superior trainer and i'm rebuilding. so, anything goes!

With 7+5 shooting values, I would make him a SG.

3x JS = 10
2x JR = 7
4x OD = 7
1x DR = 2 (+1 HA = 7)
1x PA = 7
1x IS = 6

That would be a full season of training for that trainer level.
Do the OD first then the HA then the PA.

Is he worth training? How about making him a pg? Should I work on inside skills, I'm open to anything cause training out of position is not an issue. Thanks!

Sure PG is fine too.

Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: mediocre
Jump Shot: respectable
Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: awful
Handling: average
Driving: awful
Passing: average
Inside Shot: mediocre
Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: respectable
Shot Blocking: pitiful
Stamina: average
Free Throw: pitiful

5 7 5 3 6 3 6 5 5 7 2

2x JS
4x OD
1x DR/HA
3x PA

OD first then HA then PA. JS is 2 position, fit it in when the training minutes aren't right. (1 start @ 48min PG and a backup @ SG for 12~16min each week)

how far (in canada) can a "superstar" trainee play? (as a starter at PG or SG effectively)?

A superstar guard could play in D1, but would have to be built right to maximize the potential. He would still be disadvantaged against fully trained MVPs and HOFs like our guards on the NT, but that is not every game of course.

Take a look around some countries top divisions. How many teams have superstar guards?

Look at the transfer list for superstar potential guards. Look at their performances and skill sets. How are they?
