The countries with over 1,000 users (9 of them) account for 54.2% of the user base.
The countries with too few users to fill D2 (less than 80 users) account for only 3.5% of the user base, which is almost the exact same amount as users in Turkey, and less than half the amount of users in Poland, Spain, and Italy.

In spite of all this, I think BB should make fixing micronations a high priority.

what if all nations with a comparable small amount of users just play in a continental league one time a week instead of a national cup. the rest stays the same. it wouldn't solve the issue completly but at least you have one competitive game per week if you are in a bot league.

maybe only countries with 30-50 or less users can participate. that would make this continental league competitive.

meanwhile you have two games in your league as every other user.

+: you have competition and human opponents, the communities of different region of the world connect somehow, if you want to compete you can't just tank

-: its similar to B3, you loose a friendly game per week, unfair advantage for teams of micronations.

Why not merge the micronations into a regional league so they can fill more divisions, instead of giving them one semi meaningless game a week for competition?

An adjustment to the previous guys good idea, making it better...

I think this is a good compromise.

Wolph is actually quitting as we speak and I will miss him as he really did love this game at one point in his BB career.

I do agree that this needs to be fixed. If the BBs are thinking that having a second team is the main fix to the declining playerbase, they are sadly mistaken. There is a difference between retaining a userbase and increasing it. This does nothing for the latter.

This is a big thing for supporters and for the users who are thinking about getting a supporter. Micronations might get slightly bigger after this change, but then what?

"How can BB attract new players from those micronations?" should be the question the BBs should be asking themselves, not "What is a temporary fix for the micronations?"

Yeah, how? What would you do, if you were in their place, and do you think it will work?

Wolph is quitting because there is no competition in micronations. I can't think of a better way to increase the amount of competition in smaller nations then to add second teams.
