I have to say that this current match is very difficult for you to win because :

1)You have 2 basic players that are injured
2)Your players game shape are low instead of opponent
3)You play away

So he has advantage to win this match..

As for the zone 2-3 is suggested if the opponent will play look inside or low post
Just see BB3 final season 25 (65653784)...They use it rarely but it works
If you want to not risk play man2man

i know he has the advantage in the match but i wanted to give myself the best chance.

As for the 2-3, i know its better for inside offences but i wanted to know that if if play 2-3 will his team shoot more outside shots even if he doesn't use an inside tactic? say they used patient would he shoot more outside shots compared to inside shots?

Patient tries to find the best player in the right position and if you play 2-3 they will shoot more 3 points but they will have also better chance to score..

As you saw he had 0-19 at 3 points at previous match against m2m...if the opponent played 2-3 he will score some of that..

So dont think its good solution 2-3 zone against patient even if he doesnt have the best shooting guards...If he had ridiculus PG-SG then ok maybe 2-3 it is better..but in your case not..

ive gone for 2-3 and im down 5 at half time and theyve only took 3 3 pointers so far, and scored none. Looks like they've gone for an inside offence

Can someone explain this game (69468491) ?

"White Grizzles" use patient while his SF was the best in the game (And "HAHA" SF was the weakest according to the rating). How come the SG took so many shots (and missed)? If including the shots took by PF, the combined FG% would be 7 / 48 ...

The SF was a power forward, so he was likely to be more effective shooting inside rather than outside, which is what patient looks for. I think Manon has a link to the thread where (I think) a German or Austrian team had used patient for quite some time and came up with a formula that he claimed would describe who was being selected as the main shooter, but I don't remember what or where that is unfortunately.
