Considering you already have a player at the top of the list, Id go for the first guy. Generally more potential is better, but the first guy goes better with your top pick and I think you could find a better prospect on the TL after the draft opposed to getting a C+ skilled player. Too many holes. So yeah, the first guy.

I'd go for the potential, he can train inside with your other bigs while he is young or you could do some outside for your bigs to make them well rounded, current NT advice is 1on1 forwards for a whole year anyway so this helps them all.....

I'd go for the first guy, both aren't really what you're looking for so I'd try to get a trainee in another way at some time (next draft or market). In the meantime you can train the first guy who has a lower ceiling, but you probably won't hit it (nor that of player B), because I think you should get another trainee before that time. So if you're consider you will get another trainee before either caps, it's better to take the one with the better starting skills so you can have a decent bench player or sell him (good 10-20k players sell nicely).
