The +x% is the increase of revenue from the previous season. I earned the most because I try to balance arena and training out. And you have to plan exactly which games you have to win and which not. This will maximize your earnings. Some of the other teams do the same and they earn only a little bit less than me. The guys who tank are 25-30% behind us.
A lot depends on your prices and which the number of seats. Some went from the start for bleachers. The have 12k+ arenas but earn only around 90k-120k per game.

The way I see it, for the first 16 weeks if I fired every player and paid 0 salaries I could still probably make the 50k or so. The extra 30 or 40k in salaries (plus if I want to pay for a doctor, or PR or something silly like that) the earning potential just doesn't seem to be there.

During my first season I made 75k-90k per week. During the second one it went sometimes up to 115k. Now I have higher salaries and I'm back at 75-80k per week. Tanker have the same amount. So if I have to decide: go for tanking without players or reach the playoffs with some trainees, I will go with my trainees.

I play BB for almost six real years and I never paid more than 20k for a trainer. And that was only at the beginning. For the last years I managed to buy trainers with salaries under 14k for 1k-5k (all lv 4). And I exchange them every 2-3 seasons. So the costs for a trainer are low. Let's say I pay around 220k per season for my trainer. And I have five trainees atm. So yes, there value is higher than my cost for a trainer. Besides you have to take invisible value into account. For me invisible value is stuff like higher merch because of utopian trainees or a later OET for the future.

And there is one important point for me to train my own players: the guys I need, they almost don't exist in BB. ;-)

I need to up my prices as I am almost selling out and making 118k a home game atm.

I'm well over the salary floor but still making as mush as I did season one with a less then 20k in salaries.

Topped 123k today, which was nice. Got my first loss and I know now that I've reached the point of no more benefit for luxury boxes, so I may not have much room for improvement at this point, but it now puts me at over 100k profit/week with the 10k invested in stockpiling scouting points.
