There's a really weak explanation about enthusiasm in Help, so, I'm wondering.. first off, it has 15 levels, so I'm wondering, what's the effect of those lvls? Do they improve your performance by %?


Yes, but I'm not sure exactly how much that percentage is. For example, the general consensus is that a team that uses TIE with an ENTH level of 8, would do just as well as an equally skilled team that used Normal and had an ENTH level of 5.

How would it play out between equal teams having, neutral arena, one having 15 enthusiasm and playing it easy vs a team with 10 enthusiasm and playing it normal?


The team with 15 enthusiasm should win, assuming there are no injuries/foulouts, etc. Out of 10 games, I would say that the team with 15 enthusiasm wins at least 7 times. However, this is just my opinion.

Teams that have higher enthusiasm play better than if they had lower enthusiasm. Compare it to real life. If a team isn't enthusiastic about playing, they will probably play worse than usual. On the flip side, if a team is pumped up to play, they will probably play a little better. Hope this helps.

It's extremely hard to put exact numbers on how much it effects performance, as it's near impossible to get good data in which all factors are the same except for enthousiasm.

yeah, i understand that, i didnt exactly mean to get 100% correct and proven answers, more like what people believe in from experience or what has so far been said on the matter

I just want to use my current high (15) enthusiasm as well as i can in combination with pretty much best roster in my league, for example playing vs 2nd laced team tomorrow, deciding whether to play TIE or normal, and such.

I got mine in the 10-12 range and it helped me breeze through the playoffs last season, beating teams that were close losses earlier...so it does help. Sounds like you're sitting pretty where you are. I'd play it "Normal" with an occasional TIE against overmatched teams to keep the enthusiasm high.

Well first of all it's impossible for you to have 15 enth right now. The most you can have at this point in the season it's 13. Believe me I've played TIE every single game this season.

But regardless of that, enth plays a huge part in this game. Basically if you have a bunch of 5k scrub and you have 12 enth and you're playing against a bunch of 8 or 9k guys with 9 enth then you should win the game pretty easily.


Yeah, I think that enthusiasm drops from 15 to 13 on the first daily update. If you have a long run in the Cup and a long streak of TIEs, you may be able to play a PL game with that high of an enthusiasm level, but generally in league/Cup matches you won't be able to.

True, I don't have 15 on matchday, but had it twice after a win this season.

Ok, so far I can see that enthusiasm is very important and can win you some games in very unfavorable matchups, might come handy in the cup, after i stop facing bots

What's the point of enthusiasm going up to 15 if it's more or less impossible to have it up there for a matchday tho?

If you consider the alternative, it may make more sense.

Let's say that 12 is the maximum game-day enthusiasm. Let's also say that the levels from 13 to 15 are removed because you can't have those on gameday. What happens if you TIE at 12? You end up with the same enthusiasm you'd have with a normal at 12.
