Sorry you guys are stuck with for at least one more season. Being two minutes away from a title hurts, but I'm bringing the same team back so I hope to get it done this season. Good luck to all of you. Hope it's a fun season.

Yeah, hope you promote this time. I'll just be looking to make the playoffs again. Good luck everyone!

Good luck to all in the new season!

My plan is to develop some new draftees and try to win as many games as possible to draw the crowds to the stadium. Financial situation will be a bit difficult as my 2 home-grown guys had their salaries jump to more than 40K, so it will be difficult to acquire new players this season. Hopefully, we'll get nice cup draw to get extra money in.

What are your plans for this season?

About your players, you only pay the salary they had at the time you bought them. For example, if they had a salary of 2k when you got them, and currently have a 20k salary, you only pay 2k.

No I think you pay whatever the amount currently is.

yeah... that's not correct. Then you could just get some big trainees, train them up to 300k players and never get rid of them.

Anyone have some pre-season predictions? Would be interesting to see, especially with 4 new teams in the great 8.

My mistake. Does it only kick in when you're in debt?

I predict that I am going to have a rough season. I did not think I was ready to win my league IV for another season or two. I am glad to be here and will see how it goes. good luck all

You are thinking about the overextension tax. Calculation for it will include salaries at the time of purchase. But paying a salary is just paying what the current amount is.

First game of the year was a nail biter for me. I had a 13 point lead at the start of the 4th but I almost choked it away. Luckily one of my guys hit a game winning three with two seconds left in the game. Dramatic finish to start the season off.
