Id like to reapply for the u21 manager.
Ive been lucky enough to have the team over the past 2 seasons. Ive enjoyed it and certainly not lost any passion for the role. Over the past 2 seasons ive ran the team, scouted all age groups, kept in contact with managers of team members and players close to selection and given training advise to all ages, keeping a close eye on future prospects of 18, 19 and 20 year olds.
In season 28 we won 13 of our 15 matches, and are the current continental champs, qualifying for the world cup, and handing Australia our first ever continental champion trophy. In season 29 we played in the world cup, finishing 7th overall in the tournament. Since my time as manager we have moved up from 11th in the ranking to 7th
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/World/rankings.aspx?group=2In terms of goals, if elected, my goal would be to reach the world cup again. I feel we have the arsenal to repeat this achievement. Ive had an influence with training and builds on this crop of players and feel in particular, that we have got our guards right. Ive been in close contact with prospects for this seasons team, offering advise on training and giving them goals to reach for player selection. Advice has also been given in consideration to other players coming through, so we don't have too many of the same player, and that we can play a variation of tactics.
Those of you following the team would also know that I have been trying to get the community involved in the team through post match write ups, and use of the Australian NT federation for all strategies and tactics. The use of the same Fed for the Australian NT team has encouraged people to have input in both teams, and has been successful. This part can always be improved and I will look to get the community involved as much as possible, making the team fun to follow.
Thats about it. Thanks for the support of the past 2 seasons, and I hope to have the opportunity to continue!
