I have a few questions for any candidates that I would like them to answer either in their speeches or discussion here.

1) - What do you think of the current NT?
2) - What do you think you bring to the table that qualifies you to coach the NT?
3) - Where do you think we need most improvement as a community?
4) - What strategy do you think we should use in an ideal world to best produce a quality NT?
5) - What strategy do you think is currently workable within this community?
6) - What steps will you take to improve communication, community and teamwork in the England community?
7) - Are you looking for 2 seasons or are you planning for longer commitment to the community?

Hi Vecx.

1) I think the NT has some solid center pieces which we can build around as you can see the current crop of guards is slowly ageing. With the right training on some new guards i think we can slowly move into the next great England NT roster.

2) I would like to believe i'm one of the most active users. I have worked with a whole bunch of English guys over my time on BB and feel like i could represent the community well. As well as this i've been in the game a long time and have coached two U21 teams giving me a chance to work out how best to use enth and tactical work.

3) I feel like we could have more user involvement on the forums. Maybe run interesting voting threads throughout the season to keep people interested. If you were to check out Bosnia who have similar users. Their threads achieve almost 5x more posts than ours. As much as i enjoy people talking in their division forums it would be nice to see more users starting threads in the English forum too.

4) In an ideal world, we would have 10 or so dedicated managers who solely train english prospects whilst sitting around in the lower divisions. I've seen this before when looking at players on the market. Several of the big nations have players who never intend on promoting, just training then selling world class players.

5) I think we need to work as a community in making sure players are trained or sold to people who can train. If we could get managers who would like to train at the cost of promotion then i would feel that greatly helping the NT but i would never expect anyone to put the NT above their own team. Having a good staff of enthusiastic english managers would be great.

6) As stated above i think forum interaction plays a huge part for success of the community. Most seasons we have an overview thread and that is all. I think incorporating new methods of communication would help greatly in improving the community. Also having scouts who message players often would be helpful. I know players tend to disappear after 21 and i want this to stop.

7) When applying for this position i was intending on at least a 6 season tenure as NT boss. I feel like we need an individual who can bring excellence to this position and bring a good regime for a long time, especially if we need to rear a new crop of players.

Hope my answers are to your satisfaction!

Zeus

Really agree with this point too, would be great to involve more of the English community.

Some great answers Zeus, especially on engaging the English community. In relation to number 4, if you get elected, I would happily put myself to be one of those NT training managers.
