From my experience 2-3 doesn't work against an inside offense in this game, obviously in real life it does, but here it doesn't for some reason.

Some people think that 3-2 zone works well against an inside offense, for this it helps to have good outside defense on the 3, PG-SG-SF, and good shot blocking on the 2, PF-C.

Also, if a player has low passing he will sometimes take bad shots because he doesn't have the ability to pass out of a bad situation, so throws up a poor shot as a result. 6 passing isn't terrible, but it's not great, maybe good division 3 passing would be at least 10?

Your point guard played better didn't he, 13 points, 14 assists to your opponent's 5 points, 6 assists.

Also, obviously if the play an inside offense every game predict 'Inside', I'm guessing you already know that though.

3-2 zone with SB on your bigs and good OD on your 1-2-3 position. Also ID on your guards helps. Using game day preparation helps too. If all that fails, maybe you should just look to get better players yourself.

Thanks a lot for advice, my center has 10 Sb, pf 8, sg 11 od, pg 13 od. . I just need better sf in defense. Thank you very much.

Have you considered trying Box+1?

From what I've heard, Box-and-One doesn't work like it's supposed to.

I played a version of Box and One all of last season. I found that it is great for rebounding, but you don't get as many steals or blocks as you do with Man to Man. I actually switched to it because of my teams rebounding woes. If everyone is playing Look Inside and you have a decent inside defender, Inside Box and One is pretty good at slowing down the scoring of their best inside scorer. If they have more than one option and your other defenders are not up to the task, you can still lose. Just not by as much.

I've tried it before, and it was OK, but in hindsight I would've won that game anyway. I always wonder who the fifth defender is and if they are determined by just OD, or with ID and SB.
