Potential has sublevels as well. My allstar guy is already capped, but he continues popping, at 116 skills already. I guess he had close to p.allstar potential.

I'm training SB this entire season, so I'll see how it goes. I expect at least a pop or two.

As far as I'm aware, grade rating has nothing to do with potential, only current skills. There is nothing in the game manual though..

Dumb question but... How do you know if your player has reached their potential? Do you just have a general feel based on age / TSP?

mcneill? what are his skills?

Let us know if he gets pops, will be interesting to see if training slows down, or simply stops.

I'm hoping my guy can at least get a pop in some 7 weeks of training.

Manon gave a fairly good tip: once a player reach proficient GS his DMI is maximised. Over time that max level will slowly reduce every week due to stamina reducing. So, if you see the DMI of your player go up at proficient without training Stamina it means that the player has been trained. The same way you can gauge 'invisible' skill drops this way.

Buzzer-manager can help you track what the GS and DMI on all your players has been in the past. Hope this helps.

Just one thing to keep in mind that GS has sublevels as well...need to make sure that the player is in a high 9 GS not low or mid 9.

Apparently 9 GS has no sublevels. I argued the same way as you, but Manon and others were pretty adamant there are no sublevels at Proficient, so I went and checked the data on my players, which eventually confirmed their claims. It's actually quite evident, I haven't been able to find any instance of a player on 9 GS whose DMI increased over time without playing at a position of training.

Perhaps we can take a look at some team renowned for training GS and gather some more evidence, but I'm pretty convinced at this point.
