Questions to the candidates:

1) How do you think the team has been performing these last few seasons?

2) In what ways do you intend to maximise the current potential of the team?

3) In what ways do you plan to improve the team long term?

Thanks, and I genuinely can't fault your answers!

I agree that tactically there are better choices of players or strategies to fit the team and especially the issue of HOF's not reaching their potential is a huge annoyance of mine even when I was U21 coach.

The issue of getting the community working together around the NT is perhaps the biggest point you make. I have proven that getting English HOF's up to their complete potential is the single most effective sustained way of improving your own team. 4 Seaaons of EBBL wins on the trott, with potentially one or two more (gauntlet down), is singularly down to Mac and Innes, two HOF trainees invested in over 10 seasons that produced within 8 seasons my first EBBL title. I cannot stress this enough. Because of well trained English high potential players that played u21 and now NT my merchandising income is £200k pw.

Thanks for your continued commitment to form this community and promote our NT and U21 Morwood. I was very happy to help you in the U21 and I'd be more than happy to help you again should you succeed.

Good luck to all the candidates.

Hello England managers. First off, I would like to state that I am not a candidate running for this season's managerial position. In this message, I am offering a proposal to the managers of England and in addition to the winner of the English election as his approval will be vital in making this plan succeed. I will discuss, in this message, my proposed plan to turn England into a top 20 BB nation and perhaps one season down the road compete in a World Championship.

Let me introduce myself so you can determine my credibility, as I have just said something that many of you probably rolled your eyes at because England has never been a BB superpower. I am Bizzarro, a college student (lots of time on my hands) and an athlete and sports lover for my entire life. I started playing BB back in season 11 when I developed my passion for the game; I played the game from season 11-around season 21. I worked my way up from Div. V to Div. III, which is not spectacular by my goals.. Then I had some family things come up, quit the game and returned around season 27. I ran for office for the Ireland U-21 job and won. I raised the team world ranking from 83-59 in just 2 seasons. (this was from season 29-30 I believe but I would have to go back and check.. they all run together in my memory.) Unfortunately in my second term as manager I once again ran into family issues that caused me to quit the game. Now that I am off to college and on my own I vow that no matter what happens, I will never abandon a National team again.. Not because this is THAT important to me, but it is enjoyable to me and to many and I owe that to players of this game who spend time building a community. I have been involved in this game for years and although I have not been involved in the English community, I believe that you will be able to trust my expertise in the game. Now let's transition to the real point of this message.

I will be running for U-21 England manager next season. I would like to note that this is NOT a campaign ad. I have designed my proposal to you all by laying out laws that I must follow to ensure that the English community is involved (As I am sure Morwood would also advocate for the importance of communication within the community) and know my agenda and can trust that I will follow that agenda.
Laws of Bizzarro Proposal:

1. I will buy at least one 18 year old PG/SG prospect with minimal superstar potential and focus my training entirely on him in one position training. In addition, I have a roommate that will be joining the game within weeks that has vowed to buy 3 18 year old bigs from next year’s draft and will focus training entirely on them. We cannot sell the players until fully trained and pass 25 years old. I would like to note that my roommate is not participating as a farm team or any form of cheating. He wants to win his league just like anyone else. Having the prospects will benefit him as much as it will benefit the English National team.
2. All who have players on the U-21 national team will have more influence on tactics and strategy. If you have devoted your time and effort into training a player fit enough to be on the national team, then you deserve a greater influence on the team. In addition, you know the players the best, you trained them.
3. All Scouts will have a greater say on who gets minutes in games.
4. All Scouts must train at least one England prospect. You can still help the team even if you don’t have a player in training, but I won’t label you a scout and you will lose your influential say on tactics.
5. ALL WILL BE INFORMED WEEKLY!!! Community is vital in establishing a successful national team. In my opinion a BB nation with England’s size is actually more preferable than a bigger nation such as the U.S. This is because the few that are really into improving the team will have a bigger say and will provide for a more democratic decision. Also, the ones who don’t care about the team and just sell t

sell their prospects can actually help the team because I, my roommate, Scouts, assistant coaches will buy those prospects and train them to actually FIT our team’s needs. So with this law, I vow to post updates and information weekly in the England forums (or if we have an offsite???) ALSO any scouts, assistant coaches, or others deeply involved with the team will be messaged through BB mail weekly. I will always keep in touch even if just to assure you are still involved with the team. (This will also help to assure that managers are consistently training our prospects correctly and efficiently.)

I know this is running long, we’re almost done. I assure you that if you trust me with this plan, it will be worth it and all of the dedicated English managers will be more involved with the team.

The goal of this proposal is to get a few managers to really focus on training national team players even if it means sacrificing their immediate success with their club teams. I will devote myself. My roommate (who really needs a username so I can stop referring to him as roommate) will be devoted. I ask now that I get the devotion from the next English Senior team manager’s devotion. And I ask that I have the managers of England devotion.

As this is a debate forum, please do reflect your opinions on my proposal. I am eager to hear from the manager and others close to the National team community. If this gets a good response then I will run for U-21 manager next season and discuss my plans on how to increase the number of dedicated English BB users. I hope to have a good partnership with the next England manager and with all involved in BB England.

Thank you,
Bizzarro

If you're committed to helping out England then go buy a trainee from this season's draft, there are plenty out there. You plan to exclude managers who aren't training a prospect but there is no guarantee that you will buy an English trainee if elected. There are other things wrong with your post but that's all I'll say.

Hi Bizzarro,
thank you for introducing yourself and it is nice to meet you. However, you have come about this in totally the wrong way.

First of all this forum should be just for this seasons NT election and not next years U-21 election. Second of all although you said that you did not write a campaign ad, you effectively have done and in doing so you have shown some disrespect to the current U-21 manager. If you want to become the England U-21 manager you should have spoke with JS8 and asked to help him this season behind the scenes and introduce yourself in the chat room on games days. Sorry if you have but I have not seen you! Because you have not taken the time to get to know this great English community in which we have. You do not know what up and coming players are going to be around in 2-3 seasons time so to say that you are going to take us to the world championships and becoming a BB powerhouse is only based on your enthusiasm (which is not a bad thing).
Nevertheless, The work carried out by previous managers such as Morwood, Gully, Vecx, JS8 has been outstanding to say the least. Both the NT and U-21 managers have worked long and hard along side all the members of the English community to develop what we have now and are still in the process of building. We have some outstanding trainers across this community already who sacrificed more than most other communities to get to where we are.
By posting what you have without getting to know this fine community personally (my apologise if you have but I am not aware of this) and before you posted or campaign ad. I feel although you may not have meant to disrespect anyone here however, I feel that you have disrespect the NT managers and the community when you do not now what we already do and have in place behind the scenes.

I really do not mean you any ill manner and if you are truly passionate about helping this community in the long term 10+ seasons minimum. Then I will welcome you to come and get to know the community and be apart of it first before throwing your name into the U-21 managers hat. Therefore I would say take down your posts and your "Laws" as friendship, relationships combined with the encouragement of others to do well. Without yourself being jealous of other people achievements. But encouragement and cheering people on will always overcome and produce better managers, trainers, players and most importantly community.

Regards
Ronso

You talk about me being disrespectful just by offering a proposal. I have never been so disrespected in this game before. I have had success and long experience in this game. I will never return to this community ever again. It's a shame I even wasted my time on this kind of community.
