I agree with you on the idea that most dedicated Canadian managers should try to have at least one young (U21 potential) player being trained.....
Granted, I know i had a few seasons with poor draft luck and I also wasn't willing to spend too much money to buy a young player since i was trying to get to Naismith...but i was able to draft a decent guard a few seasons back and i think he should be on track to be U21 level by the time he is 21....
My time in Naismith may be ending potentially (hoping for some great games by my players to pull out 2 Wins) but regardless of that I'm hoping to get some top tier trainee in the draft that i could even train for U21 (maybe even national team)
BTW i've dumped quite abit of drafting points into this draft, and the 19yr olds seem to be pretty good so there could be some hope there to help out this seasons weak 18yr olds...that if the right managers happen to draft them.
