Looking at the finals game, you scored 3 out of 24 from downtown, thats not impressive
I guess you had more quality than your opponent in that game, and you could win with any off tactic used.

Yesterday it was a great day for the lovers of outside tactics.


I wouldn't go that far, though I am of course pleased to see teams playing outside tactics and having success. I'm just waiting for the day that the engine will actually notice when a team shoots better from 3 than from 2 and jacks up a lot more outside shots in response.

Still, for U21 guys especially, that's a pretty solid outside rating and full credit for having the players to pull it off and the courage to do so in a Final.

I would agree with Dzi-dzi that maybe you won the game simply because you had more quality as 12,5% from the 3pt line was even less than your opponent.

Great to see that outside tactics are used a lot more often than before, though. France enjoyed an impressive European championships semi-final victory over Poland using "motion" as well: (41030). And they shot 11/24 where it actually made the difference.
