I don't think I've ever read about correlation between position and skill affected by drops

Would it makes sense that there's a reverse elastic effect at play?
I think it would make sense that a 'legendary' skill would be more affected then an 'inept'!?

I'd think that maybe skill drops are a percentage of a skill and can go from 0% to a certain level, maybe 10%. The older the player gets the more it shifts away from 0% (so at 33yo you have 70% chance of 0% drop and 0.1% chance of 10% drop; at 38yo you have 10% chance of 0% drop and 10% chance of 10% drop). Probably there is a formula based on Age which returns a percentage drop based on random number.
I reason this way because I don't think I have never seen a skill below, say, Prominent double dropping. All of this is anecdotal evidence, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Yes but would you agree that when the skills are lower drops are also lower. Have you seen a drop from 3 to 1?
My scale is probably off but I think there is a relationship between how high a skill is and how big the drop can be.

Two and a half weeks ago, on the 13/10, my player Dwight Catic
(22819242)
double dropped in a skill from 10 to 8. This is the lowest stage of a double drop I can remember seeing in my BB career.
