This would even widen the gap between new managers and old ones. Now what do new infrastructure does. Basicly allowing older teams to have 40k higher salaries without paying overextension tax, and that in like div III is huge; it decides if you would compete for championship or for relegation. It used to catch up from the start only with arena, which tooked like 3-5 seasons; now it already takes around 7-8? why widen the gap?
I always thought that training system this game has is not realistic. And the decision to throw games or compete while training youth is unnatural. The best interest for everyone would be to compete, not to built.
I think it would be best if every team would have free development team with free coaches; for example you could have like 8 players; 6 for training and lets say 2 for extra if injuries or something else. And it would be only players up to age 22 allowed there. Maybe add possibility to have like two way contracts like NBA does, so players could jump to main team if needed. This way the main team would only train players 22 or older if necessary. So for example the low division team would not even need to get coach at all because development team would fully develop their players and higher division team could opt to continue training with coaches exactly like we do training now.
