I have the same sentiment, home court advantage seems pretty big this playoffs. Not sure about previous seasons though. Here are my games.
Quarterfinals (Home)
(110598337)My starting SF played only 4 minutes due to injury. Even with less effort, I beat my opponent by 35 points. I thought at this time this is only due to salary difference (586k vs 392k)
Semifinals (Home)
(110671211)I won both league games against my semifinal opponent but both games were close. My $66k PG was limited to 16 minutes due to foul trouble and my $102k SF had only 10 minutes due to injury. Even then, the game ended with garbage time with me winning by 20 points.
Finals Game 1 (Home)
(110701664)My opponent played 2-3 zone against my LP, but I was still able to reach garbage time leading by 30 at the end of 3rd. Before garbage time, I limited my opponent's PG/SG/SF to 23% shooting.
Finals Game 2 (Away)
(110701665)I thought that given the result in game 1, plus better game shape and salary, I would win comfortably in game 2, although I expected it to be closer. Somehow their starting PG/SG/SF managed to improve the shooting from 23% to 41% with their backups shooting 73%! I barely managed to squeeze out a win in 2OT coming back from behind.
