That's quite a challenge you are going after. From what I understood from season 66 (when I was in III) there is a big differences between divisions and it's hard to train all 5 positions.
As for me - yes, I will try to promote, though I’m not sure I’ll succeed. I will probably need to buy some players.
It's getting harder to make any money with salary increases. So either I promote now, or I’ll have to sell a couple of players next season.

Would it be enough training for guards? I had a similar idea for my main team, but honestly, I don’t think I have the patience to ignore games and just wait it out... at least not in this game

So do you only choose training types that target two positions (like 1v1 or JS), or do you also go for single-position ones like Pressure but run them in two slots to cover more players?
If you ever decide to put together a summary of how this experiment goes - let me know)
