South Africa Misr 99 - 85
Quite a thought game if you ask me... Still we managet to get 14 points over our opponents and now we must keep the player trained because now the hard games will come.

It's crazy how the game went. I thougt Egypt was going to win at some point :P so glad we won. Seems now that the teams fighting for the 1st and 2nd place are South Africa, Nigeria and Tounis... If we win 2 games out of the next 3 I think the job was done :D
Good luck!

Al Maghrib South Africa 87 - 143

I must say i didn't predict a win having such a huge score difference (56)... Although we have only around 4 players from 14 that keep the forum alive, and train players, their situation is very bad :( To be honest I expected a bigger game. The 2 most important games are from now on. First game with Tounes, the team that won against Nigeria. My thoughts is that Nigeria TICed them hopping we will beat them leveling the things between our 3 teams so they could have a bigger enthusiams when they play against us :) So maybe they are afraid of our team...
Well, we'll just have to wait and see.
Be sure to watch next game things just got a lillte more complicated.

Last 2 games I lost against you this really sux :P but maybe after the end of the season I'' have enough money to buy some better players. Anyway I hope you win all the games from our group with South Africa.
Now I really want to see a good game in the African Cup final and then see the picks for the All Star Game :D

Place your bets the all star game is about to begin :D Seems this year the teams with the most players selected are as expected Cape Town Beez, Luanda Lions, Boss Man and Fooly Cooly but some new created teams seems to squeeze their players into the all star game roster ;) good for them too bad they dont want to comunicate, Honestly i expect half of them to go inactive soon... this is not good.
Anyway after i saw the roster that has been picked i must say i'm surprized Hareaipha Mbatha wasn't picked. The 2 all star teams are very balanced I beleave the Great 8 have the advantage of a good first team and a slightly stronger outside focus were as the Big 8 have better back ups then Great 8 and it seems the inside focus is their advantage. It's going to be such a great game, I'll go with my Great 8 but i think the score diferece wont be bigger then 10 points :P

South Africa - Tounes 109 - 97

To be honest it was a close game. I must say I expected our team to win and they did it :P Good game South Africa. Now I must focus on the next game, so far we are the only team from Africa Competition without a loss and I intend to keep it that way!
I must thank all of you for voting me as national manager and hope I will not dissapoint you. Now that we are 1 step away from entering the World Cup (first time for our country) we must stay focused and hopefully win against Nigeria.
Their manager mr_burns is one of the best managers out there he quilified in the semifinals of B3 competition!
Good game all see you in a week

Nigeria - South Africa 125 - 122

A dissapointing loss, still a close one. The game was going well and we had through the first 3 quarters a minimal advantage from the first quarter, but in the final one they showed their superiority. The one thing that worries me is that they playerd tie all the games and now they would have like over 10 enthusiams (like Brasil did in the last season and made it to the semifinals)meaning they played like a normal game with us still i played ct and still we didnt won.
Still we are in the first position and I hope we remain there.

Why is SA ranked #61 in the world? You're winning many more games than we did in the last world championship qualifying, and the team is ranked about 30 places below where it was. Is there a possible problem with the world rankings?

Just curious.

Tom, you're doing a great job with the team. It's good to see that. Let's see if we can pull off the upset against Nigeria in the 2nd half of the round robin.
