You're clearly not a GM, then, who would have to deal with the offensive nicknames that would be created.

Anyway, I still think it's a good idea if opened up in a very limited way. In fact, it has been suggested multiple times before. I know I suggested it many months ago (I'll never find the post... I remember demanding a free nickname for suggesting it), and there seemed to be official optimism at that time that it would happen at some point.
