Don't let height determine how you train a player. That said, the first player is decent from the outside as well so if you were training guards you could do worse than playing him there and make him a very well rounded player.

Rambo VT is right. with your first player you have a very good chance of training a very good small forward. the same can be said for your second player though you'll need to work on his range. nice trainees though.

i got more problems with the OD of player one as SF, then the lack of shooting by the second ;)
But i probadly would trai both to point guard or something like Shooting PF.
