It surely does help but as you say, training OD for centers and ID for guards is probably the hardest possible thing to do.

I guess if you really want to train them, try to play a guard and a center if you are training ID two positionally.

But I always tried to avoid this problem by buying players who have both defenses good. Can't see any other reasonable way of avoiding this 'C's have no OD' problem.

My in-game ratings for both ID and OD are much worse than the ratings for the individual players who play there,


if you try to raise your rating, improve the ID of your Centers and the OD of your Guards, that have more effect on the ratings ... And don't expect, to have 6 on od when you plaing with 6er Guards, they need skills around 10 to rech this level.

Even an additional level in this skill will help you more inn game, then training their B-Skills.
